Grand Canyon National Park Airport
Welcome to the Grand Canyon National Park Airport.
The Grand Canyon National Park Airport is the airport serving the general aviation (GA) traffic at the Grand Canyon National Park. While the airport mainly serves as a hub for all scenic helicopter and airplane tours around the Grand Canyon, it is also a public airport – which means that you as a pilot can fly to and from GCN airport.
Grand Canyon Airport Terminals
The Grand Canyon National Park airport has one terminal building for the airport’s regular fixed wing aircraft operations. The three helicopter tour companies are operating from their own terminal buildings, which are located north and east of the main terminal building.
When entering the South Airport Entrance from the Route 64, the terminal of helicopter tour operator Maverick Helicopters is to your right.
The road then becomes Corsair Drive, and after about 260 ft, you can turn right onto Flying Fortress Drive to get to the terminal of helicopter tour operator Grand Canyon Helicopters.
If you continue straight ahead on Corsair Drive, you can turn right on Airport Road. Caution: This is a one way road that guides you around the public airport parking.
If you continue on Airport Road, or enter it from the Route 64 at the northernmost entry point, you will reach the Papillon Helicopters terminal.
Grand Canyon airport main terminal layout
There are five gates distributed along this linear terminal. Gate Two is in the north wing, Gates Three and Four operate out of the central foyer, while Gates Five and Six are in the south wing.
Airport terminal tenants
